The Challenge
A US-based fintech startup approached Weiblocks to solve one of crypto's most persistent problems: the irreversibility of blockchain transactions. Once cryptocurrency is sent, there's no way to recover it if the other party fails to deliver - making peer-to-peer transactions inherently risky. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible by design - a feature that creates significant trust issues: No Chargebacks, Fraud Risk, and a Trust Barrier. The client was searching for a blockchain-experienced team that could build a secure, scalable escrow system from the ground up.
